Getting closer to our departure date!!!!

Time is really flying. We have less than 3 weeks left and have started a list of all the things we have to do before we leave. And a list of all the things to take a long. We both have our hobbies to take along and fortunately neither one of them take up a lot of space. Gary will be bringin along his painting supplies (acrylics) and I will bring along my beading materials. It will be nice to get going although we will miss all of our quail families that are running around the court yard. They are so cute, especially the babies.
As you can see on the picture we are towing a very small trailer so we will have to get used to that but at least we have stayed in it before for 3 months. Things we will miss the most is our shower and our easy chairs. The showere is very small and there are no easy chairs inside. Other than that we are o.k. with what we have; at least we have a bathroom so we don’t have to use the public restrooms. Our goal is to have a big fifth wheel next year.

June 1, 2008 - Sun City, Arizona

June 1, 2008 in sunny Sun City.
We are getting ready for our big trip. People say: “Why do you make such a long trip now that the gas prices are so high? Our answer to this is: “Why not?” The gas prices may be higher next year or we might not be able to make the trip for other reasons. At our age you do what you want to do when you can.
Will keep you posted on our progress.
